Regardless of how we feel, capacity is not something to be solved or optimized, it’s a resource to be measured and allocated.

What’s more, unless we have a lot of fidelity to significantly change our lives, our capacity will likely stay the same. Therefore, our ability to increase our sum is more or less a moot point.

Growing our capacity, finding more time, discovering extra stores of physical and mental energy are good options, but they’re not the only options. More often than not, the quickest way to start working on things we find interesting is to measure and allocate the capacity we currently possess (regardless of how little or much we seem to have) and apply what we discover to the things that matter most.
